Job Title: Part-Time Human Resources Assistant
Department: Human Resources

Job Purpose:
The ideal candidate for this position is a current student majoring
in business administration, human resources, psychology, or a related
field with an interest in an HR career. This position provides the
perfect opportunity for a student with little to no experience to gain
hands-on, practical knowledge in the field of human resources.
Initially, the Human Resources Assistant’s primary responsibilities
will be to manage Human Resources files and provide administrative
support to the HR team. Additional responsibilities will include
support of HRIS administration and maintaining records of
training/competencies, licenses, and certifications. The HR Assistant
will assume larger responsibilities as he/she accumulates more
experience in the role.
Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for creating and managing the New Hire Files
and employee documents
- File room maintenance and compliance auditing
- HRIS data entry, record maintenance
- Tracking annual paperwork in compliance with regulator requirements
- Support HR team with employee New Hire Orientation and employee events.
- Assists in Ad Hoc HR projects
- Management reserves the right to add other responsibilities, as
he/she/they deem necessary as long as they are relevant to the
department and/or the organization.
- Support HR related request for records/documentation
- Support seasonal recruitment efforts.
